About Me

We’re all human, and critical to our being human is that we need someone to talk to. We need someone who not only listens without judgment, but also someone who can tune in to what we’re really saying, and can help us understand and connect the dots.  We get to the root causes, as well as to the present problems, and loop back and forth, so it makes sense to you.  But primarily, we deal with the present dilemmas, to help you understand and develop new ways to handle and resolve them.

I also do video counseling for those that can’t get to either office.

Unfortunately, I no longer accept insurance, but do self-pay only.  See the Fee/Finances Page for rates.

My Backround

I received my B.A. from Boston University, as well as an M.Ed. in Counseling Psychology from Boston College.  In addition, I hold a Certificate in Advanced Trauma Treatment.  I have over 25 years of experience as a psychotherapist and supervisor, working in hospitals, clinics, schools, colleges, nursing homes, and private practice.

Additional Office

Please note that I now have an office in addition to the downtown one, right in Watertown Square, at the

CENTER FOR INTEGRATIVE HEALTH, 23 CENTER STREET, WATERTOWN, MA 02472

More complete directions are on my Contact page.  The phone number, 617-499-1950, is the same, and you can reach me at that number to make an appointment at either office.  Of course, I also offer the same complementary phone consult.
